Davy Crockett: Congressman
(17:52)
“Truth will ultimately prevail where there (are) pains taken to bring it to light.”
George Washington
In the very early American Republic, our young state legislators and our young national congressmen did make the mistake of passing socialistic legislation on occasion, but these legal errors were definitely the exceptions rather than the rule. During the first 150 years of our existence after the ratification of the Constitution in 1788, the American Republic survived relatively free of the evils of socialism because most of our people, most of our state legislators, and most of our national congressmen and Supreme Court justices clearly understood the principles of freedom, patriotism, and Americanism as defined by our Founding Fathers.
Because at that early time these three principles were so simple for our people to understand, they could easily recognize socialist-American type legislators and judges, and when they did, they would either vote these elected socialist legislators out of office, or pressure Real American-type legislators to impeach these socialist-type judges. The story of Davy Crockett perfectly illustrates the truth of this statement regarding our earlier legislators in Congress.
After Davy's story is told, you should understand how easily even intelligent people can fall into the errors of socialism, and also how easily sincere people with the virtues of honesty and humility can correct their erroneous thinking regarding the fallacious principles of socialism.
Everyone is familiar with the famous Davy Crockett of Tennessee. He was a legendary American hunter, hostile Indian fighter, frontiersman, pioneer, and hero, who valiantly sacrificed his life fighting at the Alamo for Texas independence from Mexico in 1836. Everyone is familiar with his physical courage and his mastery over the natural human emotion of fear. But fewer people are familiar with his metaphysical courage, which enabled him to stand up for what he believed in, and to verbally express his convictions, no matter what the cost to himself.
This is the story of Davy Crockett's metaphysical courage.
How Do You Know that it's True?
(8:39)
The United States invaded Iraq to prevent Saddam Hussein from using weapons of mass destruction; but Saddam Hussein had no WMD. The Bush regime continues to tell Americans that the economy is healthy; but more people than ever are out of work or barely making ends meet. The United States is seeking to spread freedom around the world; but Americans are among the most tightly regulated and controlled people in the world. According to some experts, fluoride prevents tooth decay; others say fluoride hurts your teeth. It continues endlessly.
But how do you know any of it is true? How do you know that what you are reading in newspapers or magazines, hearing on radio, or watching on television is really happening? How do you know that the results of so-called "official" polls are true or even accurate?
We are told that we have terrible problems with crime, drugs, immigration, etc. But how do you know any of it is true?
In this commentary, Brent Johnson shows how Americans have become gullible and complaisant, believing just about anything that the government officially says. Brent brilliantly explains the difference between what you BELIEVE and what you KNOW.
With insight and clarity, Brent invites all people - whenever they are told about some event or occurrence in the world - to ask themselves, 'how do I know that it's true?' You may discover what it means to be an American. You may discover what it means to be free.
Restoring State Militias
(46:55)
In his new book, Constitutional Homeland Security: Volume 1, The Nation in Arms, Dr. Edwin Vieira, Junior explains with both clarity and panache, precisely how to restore the great American Republic to her heritage of personal liberty and individual rights, by maintaining constitutionally authorized state militias in each state.
Dr. Vieira proposes that these civilian forces would be able to economic force by literally shutting down the country when the government fails to respect the constitutional restriction that We the People have imposed on it.
Edwin Vieira, Jr. holds four degrees from Harvard: A.B. (Harvard College), A.M. and Ph.D. (Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences), and J.D. (Harvard Law School).
For more than thirty years he has practiced law, with emphasis on constitutional issues. In the Supreme Court of the United States he successfully argued or briefed the cases leading to the landmark decisions Abood v. Detroit Board of Education, Chicago Teachers Union v. Hudson, and Communications Workers of America v. Beck.
He has written numerous monographs and articles in scholarly journals, and lectured throughout the county. He is also the co-author (under a nom de plume) of the political novel CRA$HMAKER: A Federal Affaire (2000) , a not-so-fictional story of an engineered crash of the Federal Reserve System, and the political upheaval it causes.
A New Paradigm
(14:15)
Society isn’t working. Anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear is aware that modern “civilized” societies have not yielded happy populations. If the purpose of society is the fulfillment of humankind, then societies have failed miserably.
We need a change in the basic structure of human society, if the human race is to survive as more than just slaves of the social system in which they live. We need a change if the human race is ever to again aspire to heights of creativity, imagination, and spiritual growth.
For thousands of years humans have run this world from an economic perspective, always jockeying for power and control and using money, possessions, and position to achieve those ends, and it just hasn’t worked.
We need to commit to a new way of living, one in which principles and values are more important than anything else. We need principled and moral people to resurrect the spiritual aspirations of the American Founding Fathers and by so doing, to save the world for humanity.
I hope that you choose to be one of them.
Bank Fraud
(13:03)
The entire central banking, fractional reserve money system that has been employed in the United States since 1913 is a breeding ground for fraud.
The entire central banking, fractional reserve money system that has been employed in the United States since 1913 is a breeding ground for fraud.
It is crucial that you understand what constitutes bank fraud and why it is so prevalent in today’s modern banking system. After all, if you are giving some stranger - your banker - the power and authority to manage the fruit of your labor, then don’t you think you should protect yourself from bank fraud that threatens to undermine your economic well being?
Once you fully comprehend the extent of bank fraud, perhaps you will think twice before placing your hard earnings into the hands of banksters. At the very least, you might more closely manage your money, instead of simply trusting bank officials to do with it what they wish.
Firearms Laws
(25:18)
In the united States of America, the term firearms laws is actually and oxymoron, because the Second Amendment to the Constitution clearly states that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. That means that no law that in any way restricts, controls or otherwise attempts to limit the individual's use of any firearms, is invalid and legally unenforceable.
Of course, when a government attempts to force people to do something when it is specifically prohibited from doing so is a government engaged in usurpation, which is the legal justification for armed Revolution (see Declaration of Independence, 1776).
Your right to own and use firearms is a natural outgrowth of your fundamental right to life. God granted you the right to life, and He therefore gave you the right to defend your life, with whatever weapons you find necessary to accomplish that defense.
Charles Weisman has written a book entitled The Right to Keep and Bear Arms, containing numerous legal citings and quotes from the Founding Fathers regarding the all important basic right to life.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until a majority of voters discover that they can vote themselves largess out of the public treasury."
