NEW YORK - May 10, 2011 - iFixit, a group best known for ripping open new gadgets and examining their internal components, got hold of an actual FBI tracking device from an "unknown owner," who found it underneath his or her car. Man set up by police in fake backpack ruse!
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico - May 9, 2011 - A good Samaritan claims Albuquerque police filed a bogus felony charge against him in a harebrained sting they set up by planting a backpack with beer, cigarettes and a computer outside a high school. He says he picked up the backpack so children wouldn't drink the beer or smoke the cigarettes - for which he was charged with felony larceny.
Florida passes bill to make teens pull up pants!
TALLAHASSEE, Florida - May 9, 2011 - Teenagers in Florida are set to be banned by law from wearing low-slung jeans that reveal their underwear.
Senate Bill 228, also known as the "Pull Your Pants Up Bill”, was last week overwhelmingly approved by the state legislature. It is expected to be signed by Governor Rick Scott this week.

Gasoline prices are forcing Indianans to park their cars!
SOUTH BEND, Indiana - May 5, 2011 - Indiana residents say record-high gasoline prices are forcing them to park their cars, stay home more often and ride their bicycles.
"They're killing us. It's too expensive," said Luis Loredo, a 31-year-old painter from South Bend. "Sometimes I can only buy $5. Five dollars is nothing now. If I don't have to go, I don't go (anywhere)."
