CAMP HILL, Pennsylvania - August 2, 2010 - According to police in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, a prison guard allegedly killed a lawyer and stole his custom rifle - part of a plan, the guard reportedly admitted, to steal guns in preparation for an armed coup.

Raymond Peake, a 64-year-old guard at the Camp Hill state prison, allegedly shot Todd Getgen to death at a local shooting range and stole Getgen’s gun - a custom, silenced AR-15 rifle. He then allegedly stashed the gun with a fellow guard, Thomas Tuso, until he could put it in a storage unit.

The Helena Public School system is considering a comprehensive plan for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. It includes teaching first graders that people can be attracted to the same gender. In second grade students are instructed to avoid homosexual slurs and by the time students turn 10 years old they are taught about various types of intercourse.

OCEAN CITY, New Jersey - July 27, 2010 - A police officer shot a Rottweiler twice after it reportedly became aggressive and could not be restrained by its owners Sunday.

The owner of the dog said Sunday afternoon that the Rottweiler was not threatening police and the shots that were fired could have hurt a number of people who were present with the dog.
