Trust in media among Amerikans hits record low according to the latest Gallup survey!
WASHINGTON (PNN) - October 3, 2025 - Trust in media among Amerikans has hit a record low, according to a Gallup survey released on October 2.
Just 28% of adults told Gallup that they have a great deal or fair amount of trust in media.
That is a decline from 31% in 2024, 32% in 2023, 40% in 2020, and a peak of 72% in 1976, shortly after Gallup first started asking about trust in me
