Alabama Senate passes bill to abolish marriage licensing!

MONTGOMERY, Alabama (PNN) - March 17, 2016 - The Alabama Senate passed a revived version of a bill on Tuesday with a 23 to 3 vote that would end marriage licensing in the state in an effort to resolve ongoing disputes over same-sex marriage.

If SB143 were to become law, couples would no longer have to seek permission to marry from a probate office and would instead file their own contracts with the state.

Permitless open carry overwhelmingly passes Oklahoma House!

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (PNN) - March 11, 2016 - On March 10, the Oklahoma House passed legislation to legalize carrying a handgun openly on one’s hip without a concealed carry permit.

The measure is being referred to as “constitutional open carry” and the vote for passage was 73-15, a landslide victory for abolishing the permit requirement.

PALM BEACH, Florida (PNN) - March 11, 2016 - Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, once a rising star in the Republican primary race, endorsed current frontrunner Donald Trump during a press conference early Friday morning.

"Why would you get behind a man like Donald Trump? I'll tell you why," Carson told reporters gathered in Palm Beach, Florida. "I've come to know Donald Trump over the last few years. He is actually a very intelligent man who cares deeply about Amerika."
