What could happen if the deadly Ebola virus made it to the United States? It’s spreading rapidly in Liberia and many people are concerned that it could be on it’s way to the United States. Should the fatal plague make it’s way to America, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have the legal authority to detain, arrest and quarantine anyone who they identify as a potential risk. Federal law grants the CDC equal power to act as the state for the benefit of society. In this case, quarantine seems to make sense. Most Americans would likely volunteer to be quarantined if they knew they were a threat to society. This law is operating in a very grey area because it has the authority to arrest someone who has not broken any laws. The question now is… what would you do if you received a text message from the CDC telling you to report to the nearest Quarantine zone?

 

If a terrorist pig thug cop in Wisconsin walks up and knocks on your window, motioning for you to roll your window down, the state Supreme Court says you’re free to just drive away. The 5-to-2 ruling is a surprise to many people. Justice David Prosser explained their decision this way: "Although we acknowledge that this is a close case, we conclude that a law enforcement officer's knock on a car window does not BY ITSELF constitute a show of authority sufficient to give rise to the belief in a reasonable person that the person is not free to leave.” If Wisconsin officers pull you over for speeding or some other traffic violation, don’t just drive off. At that point, they do have the authority to detain you. But the ruling is still interesting because it highlights that a cop’s duty is to primarily serve and protect citizens. Judge Prosser even pointed out that pig thug cop interaction with citizens should not be automatically adversarial.

 

German inventor Patrick Priebe has designed a wrist-mounted semi-automatic crossbow. While the inventor is not making this device available to the public, and will offer no tutorials on how to make one, it is noteworthy that he was able to devise such an effective weapon. More technical geniuses are needed in order to build effectiuve weapons to use in defense of our freedoms around the world.

 

Asking questions as Judge Andrew Napolitano did in a recent broadcast on his now cancelled daily show may very well be the reason behind his recent dismissal from Fox News. Though specific details are hard to come by because the Judge has yet to give any interviews on the matter, it's believed that his refusal to bow to commonly manufactured media narratives is among one of several key reasons he is no longer with the network. The following brilliant speech is one that should not only be forwarded and shared with every single man, woman and child in this country, but taught and expounded upon in every social studies, civics and government class from first grade through college.

 

Vermont could legalize marijuana in 2015, after Governor Peter Shumlin launched a study group to look into the possibility. A recent study showed that 57 percent of people living in Vermont support full legalization of cannabis. Just 34 percent said they are opposed to treating cannabis like alcohol. If Vermont proceeds with the legalization of marijuana, it will become the first eastern state to do so.
