HIGH RIVER, Calgary, Canada (PNN) - June 27, 2013 - “It’s just like Nazi Germany, just taking orders,” shouted a resident of the flooded Canadian town High River after the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) came in and confiscated guns from the residents.
“This is the reason the (Fascist Police States of Amerika) has the right to bear arms,” said Charles Timpano, pointing to the group of Mounties.
The Calgary Herald has reported that our Canadian neighbors don’t like it when the government takes their guns either. RCMP revealed Thursday that terrorist pig thug cops have seized a “substantial amount” of firearms from homes in the evacuated town of High River.
“We just want to make sure that all of those things are in a spot that we control, simply because of what they are,” said Sgt. Brian Topham.
“People have a significant amount of money invested in firearms… so we put them in a place that we control and that they’re safe.”
That news didn’t sit well with a crowd of frustrated residents who had planned to breach a terrorist pig thug cop checkpoint northwest of the town as an evacuation order stretched into its eighth day.
“I find that absolutely incredible that they have the right to go into a person’s belongings out of their home,” said resident Brenda Lackey, after learning Mounties have been taking residents’ guns. “When people find out about this there’s going to be untold hell to pay.”
About 50 RCMP terrorist pig thug cops set up a blockade so the residents could not get back in, but after mounting tension the terrorist pig thug cops were ordered to stand down.
“We don’t want our town to turn into another New Orleans,” said resident Jeff Langford. “The longer the water stays in our houses the worse it’s going to be. We’ll either be bulldozing them or burning them down because we’ve got an incompetent government.”
But it sounds like a lot more than just incompetence to us here at Guns ‘n’ Freedom. After all, they did not accidentally take these guns out of houses; and no matter what the rationale was behind this decision, it’s a clear example of how any government can use crisis and tragedy to take away rights from its citizens. Of course, our neighbors to the north do not have a Second Amendment to fall back on, but stealing from people while pretending to protect them is wrong on any level.
The terrorist pig thug cops relied on forced entry to get into numerous houses during the early stages of the flood because of an “urgent need”, said Topham.
So the “forced entry” was necessary. It was even prudent because of the “urgent need”. Our founding fathers warned us about sacrificing liberty for the sake of safety, and this is exactly why. Any crisis will be seen as a chance for the governing body to take more freedoms and to become more powerful.
Topham said the High River resident’s guns would be returned when the residents were allowed to come back into their town and they would have to provide proof of ownership of these guns.
Proof of ownership? What in the world does that mean? Yes, we are supposed to keep our receipts and maybe even a card showing the serial number of the gun, but these people just had their town flooded. Hopefully they carved their initials into their firearms or they might just not be able to “prove” that these guns actually belonged to them. Then again, I’m betting the terrorist pig thug cops are hoping they can’t prove their ownership.
