CANTON, Ohio - January 3, 2010 - A part-time Dellroy police officer is accused of using a Taser gun on his girlfriend's children.
Kevin McCann, 47, of Canal Fulton, was charged with felonious assault and child endangerment.
The children's mother, 22-year-old Christina Robinson, was also charged with child endangerment.
The indictment claims McCann used the Taser on Robinson's 3-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son last summer, but police said they don't believe the children were actually shocked with it.
McCann was arrested without incident by the Stark County Sheriff's Office.
