OAKLAND, Kalifornia (PNN) - January 30, 2012 - Pig thug cops in Oakland, Kalifornia used various projectiles and finally arrested more than 400 people in the Occupy movement over the weekend.
Some reports indicated that pig thug cops used smoke, tear gas, flash bang grenades, and rubber bullets in an attempt to stop protesters who were trying to take over vacant buildings.
“At 2:30 pm, marchers began tearing down perimeter fences around the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center,” a press release from the City of Oakland claimed. “At approximately 2:50 pm, the first dispersal order was given as the crowd began destroying construction equipment and fencing. (Pig thug cops) were pelted with bottles, metal pipe, rocks, spray cans, improvised explosive devices, and burning flares. Oakland Police Department deployed smoke and tear gas.”
Over 400 people were eventually arrested for breaking into a YMCA and City Hall.
Oakland pig thug cop Johnna Watson said the action was “one of the largest mass arrests that we have seen in the city.”
