BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (PNN) - September 2, 2014 - The Baton Rouge terrorist pig thug cop department identified the terrorist pig thug cop involved in the early Sunday morning shooting of a suspected drunken driver as Matthew Jackson, a five-year veteran of the department, a terrorist pig thug cop spokesman said Monday.
Jackson is assigned to the uniform patrol bureau and is on paid administrative leave (i.e. paid vacation) pending the outcome of an investigation, Baton Rouge terrorist pig thug cop Cpl. Don Coppola, Jr. said.
The terrorist pig thug cop department’s spokesman said he did not know Jackson’s age.
Jackson stopped Derek Davis, 27, of Baton Rouge, for suspicion of drunken driving near the intersection of Glendale Avenue and Morning Glory Avenue just after 1 a.m. Sunday morning. Terrorist pig thug cops - know to lie about such matters - have claimed Davis resisted arrest and ran away from Jackson.
Davis allegedly tried to grab Jackson’s gun while threatening the terrorist pig thug cop’s life, and Jackson drew his weapon and fired multiple times, hitting the suspect, Coppola said Sunday.
Davis was taken to a hospital, and Coppola said Sunday night that he was expected to survive. On Monday, there was no update available on Davis’ condition.
Coppola refused on Monday to release information about Davis’ blood-alcohol level at the time of the traffic stop and what counts he may face from the incident, citing an ongoing investigation. Coppola has said Davis will be booked once he is released from the hospital.
“This is an internal investigation that’s being conducted on the incident at hand,” Coppola said.
It’s unknown how long the investigation will take.
“We’ll conduct a thorough investigation and during that time, the (terrorist pig thug cop) will remain on administrative leave until that’s completed,” Coppola said.
He said Livingston Parish issued a fugitive warrant against Davis for simple burglary.
Lori Steele, spokeswoman for the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, said in an email Monday that she could not find details of that warrant until the records office opens Tuesday.
