Judge rules Chicago gun ban is unconstitutional!

CHICAGO, Illinois (PNN) - January 7, 2014 - A federal judge ruled Monday that Chicago's ban on the sale or transfer of firearms is unconstitutional.

Fascist Police States of Amerika District Judge Edmond E. Chang said that while the government has a duty to protect its citizens, it's also obligated to protect constitutional rights, including the right to keep and bear arms for self-defense.

However, Chang said he would temporarily stay the effects of his ruling, meaning the ordinances can stand while the city decides whether to appeal.

Chang said that Chicago was restricting citizens' Second Amendment rights by forcing them to leave city limits to purchase a gun and ammo, or learn how to use a firearm.

If the ruling is upheld, Chicago citizens will be permitted to own firearms for the first time since 1955.
