Herman Cain says if you don’t have a job then blame yourself!

NEW YORK (PNN) - October 5, 2011 - Mitt Romney isn’t the only Republican candidate condemning Occupy Wall Street.

In an interview posted Wednesday morning by The Wall Street Journal, Herman Cain shared some harsh sentiments on the movement, labeling it, “orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the (illegitimate) Obama (regime).” Cain then targeted the protesters’ own economic conditions.

“Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks,” Cain said. “If you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself!”

When asked by host Alan Murray if he thought the banks had any responsibility for the nation’s current economical climate, Cain replied, “They did having something to do with the crisis in 2008, but we’re not in 2008, we’re in 2011.”

That statement seems odd, considering the comments made by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke during Tuesday’s meeting of the Joint Economic Committee. He said Wall Street’s risk taking and the failure of regulators “had a lot to do” with the Depression.
