Government schools dictate what children may eat!

Ban foods provided by sources that compete with schools.

BOSTON, Massachusetts (PNN) - May 7, 2012 - Bake sales, the calorie-laden standby on which cash-strapped classrooms, PTAs and booster clubs rely, will be outlawed from fascist public schools as of Aug. 1, 2012, as part of new freedom-trampling nutrition standards, forcing fundraisers back to the blackboard to cook up ways to raise money for children that are not stifled by the terrorist Fascist Police States of Amerika government.

At a minimum, the nosh clampdown targets “competitive” foods - those sold or served during the school day in hallways, cafeterias, stores and vending machines outside the regular lunch program, including bake sales, holiday parties, and treats dished out to reward academic achievement.

Fascist state officials are pushing schools to expand the ban to include evening, weekend and community events such as banquets, door-to-door candy sales and football games.

The fascist and unfree Departments of Public Health and Education contend clearing tables of even whole milk and white bread is necessary to combat an obesity epidemic affecting a third of the state’s 1.5 million students.

Middleboro School Committeeman Brian Giovanoni, whose board will discuss the mandatory meal makeover Thursday night, said, “My concern is we’re regulating what people can eat, and I have a problem with that. I respect the state for what (it’s) trying to do, but I think (it’s) gone off the deep end. I don’t want someone telling me how to do my job as a parent. Is the commonwealth of Massachusetts saying our parents are bad parents?”

“If we didn’t have so many (children) that were obese, we could have let things go,” said fascist State Senator Susan Fargo.

Ed. Note: I would sooner a child of mine grow up illiterate than be subjected to the poisonous environment in the dictatorial fascist indoctrination centers that make up the public school system. Get your children out of public school now or you are bad parents!

House votes to reverse ban on school bake sales!

BOSTON, Massachusetts (PNN) - May 9, 2012 - The state House voted Wednesday to overturn a ban on bake sales at schools in Massachusetts.

The amendment, offered by Republican Rep. Brad Hill, allows local school districts to decide for themselves whether to allow bake sales, which are used to help fund school programs, to occur during school hours.

The ban was originally written into a $72 million mid-year spending plan.

The amendment must travel through the state Senate before it reaches Governor Deval Patrick’s desk for signature.

The ban would have taken effect on Aug. 1, 2012, based on regulations adopted by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The ban was part of a new school nutrition law.
