COLUMBIA, South Carolina (PNN) - April 16, 2014 - Counterterrorism agents from the Amerikan Gestapo Federal Bureau of Investigation division are investigating “suspicious purchases” made by people who talk about “big government,” at South Carolina gun shops according to a new report.
According to author Brandon Turbeville, a Columbia, South Carolina gun shop worker approached him to describe a story of how an FBI agent entered his store on Monday.
The worker says the agent showed his credentials and then proceeded to ask him a series of questions.
Apparently the agent was quite forthcoming with the worker and told him he was tasked with visiting firearms outlets in the local area to check on “suspicious purchases” for “counter-terrorism purposes.” The agent then began discussing what is considered suspicious. “Paying with cash, purchasing long guns, and other obviously normal behavior” was mentioned.
The agent then made a shocking statement.
He said, “If you see some Middle Eastern guy come in you don’t have to be so worried about that. What we’re really looking for are people talking about being sovereign such as sovereign citizens or people talking about big government,” the agent reportedly said.
Evidently the irony of an invasive big government agent asking about “people talking about big government” was lost on him.
Before the agent left the store, he handed the employee a flyer that lists “paying with cash, buying in bulk, being a new customer,” and other completely common and normal behaviors, as suspicious activity.
The FBI has repeatedly publicly labeled those who identify as “sovereign citizens” to be domestic terrorists.
The FBI has not returned requests for comment.
