GOLDSBORO, North Carolina (PNN) - February 14, 2021 - A North Carolina man died on Saturday after he broke into the home of a 73-year-old woman and was fatally shot by her 12-year-old grandson who was trying to defend her.

Two masked robbers entered the home of Linda Ellis in Goldsboro at around 1:00 am on Saturday, where they demanded money and shot the grandmother in the leg.

Ellis’ grandson fired back at the two intruders in self-defense and they fled.

NEW YORK (PNN) - February 12, 2021 - Recent court documents have indicated that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) possesses a tool allowing it to access encrypted messages on the Signal app.

Signal has rapidly gained in popularity as Silicon Valley monopolists have grown more openly hostile to free speech, but the platform may be vulnerable to backdoors that undermine the privacy protections provided through the encrypted messaging service.

When phones are in partial AFU mode, Signal messages can be seized by federal authorities and other potentially hostile interests. GrayKey and Cellebrite are the tools typically used by the FBI to gain this sensitive information, an expert has explained.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (PNN) - February 11, 2021 - As the nation’s gun sales soar, the State of Utah has is set to adopt a permitless concealed carry system in which anyone legally permitted to own a firearm - from any state in the Union - can carry a firearm under his or her clothing while in the state.

Governor Spencer Cox will sign legislation this week to eliminate the permit requirement currently in place for carrying a concealed weapon. The Act will permit any law-abiding person over the age of 21 to carry a concealed firearm while in the State of Utah.

The law excludes convicted felons, those legally adjudicated mentally ill, and other people already prohibited from owning a gun.

WASHINGTON (PNN) - February 9, 2021 - A lawyer for President Donald Trump has said that his defense will show videos of Democrats encouraging violence at his Senate impeachment trial.

Attorney Bruce Castor told Fox News‘ Laura Ingraham that they would be presenting videos showing Democrat Congress members calling for violence against officials with the Trump regime and law enforcement.

These clips will counter videos the Democrats are expected to show of the rioting at the Capitol as well as the speech Trump gave at a rally prior to the January 6 attack.
