March 31, 2021 - One of the reasons for the welfare state is the concept of redistribution of wealth. The argument is that in a free market, there are people who end up having more money than others. This is unfair, argue welfare-statists. Everyone should be equal in terms of the money and wealth they have. Thus, their argument goes, the government is needed to take money from the wealthy and give it to the poor, until everyone is equal in terms of income and wealth.

Coercive redistribution and equalization of wealth is a core principle, of course, of socialism. In the pure socialist ideal, the state takes everything from everyone and then doles out money to everyone in equal shares.

NEW YORK (PNN) - March 27, 2021 - This happened even sooner than most people expected. We were warned at the beginning of the month that New York State was working to implement a system of immunity passports for people who wish to reenter most “normal” aspects of society. The state had clearly made up its mind already and had people working on the project because the “Excelsior Pass” is already in production and will be required for many social activities starting April 2. Large venues in New York City are already using it, but most other “arts, entertainment and event venues” will require the pass shortly thereafter. People who have either been vaccinated or have received a negative COVID test in the previous few days will be able to obtain the pass, which can either be printed out on paper or displayed via an app on your phone.

The nation’s very first “vaccine passport” is coming to the Big Apple.

BELLMAWR, New Jersey (PNN) - March 26, 2021 - A New Jersey gym owner who gained notoriety for resisting unlawful shutdowns during the nonexistent COVID-19 pandemic claims he will give away free gym memberships to those who choose not to get a vaccine for the virus.

The Atilis Gym Bellmawr owner Ian Smith tweeted Tuesday he would offer the deal after Krispy Kreme announced it was offering a free glazed doughnut for anyone who shows a vaccination card.

CHANHASSEN, Minnesota (PNN) - March 25, 2021 - A local Minnesota theater has cancelled a production of Roger & Hammerstein’s Cinderella because its cast was “too white”.

Chanhassen Dinner Theatres was scheduled to stage the show later this year before its artistic director stepped in to slam its lack of diversity.

“It was 98% white,” said the artistic director, Michael Brindisi after looking at who had been cast.

LONDON, England (PNN) - March 25, 2021 - So we come to March 23, 2021, the Fascist United Kingdom’s first lockdown birthday. Or, as we call it here, the longest two weeks in history.

It’s a long time since “2 weeks to flatten the curve” became an obvious lie. Sometime in July it turned into a sick joke. The curve was flattened, the NHS protected, and the clapping was hearty and meaningful.

None of it made any difference.

LOS ANGELES, Kalifornia (PNN) - March 25, 2021 - You expect to produce a ticket to get on a plane, train or enter the theater. But Bill Gates has designed it so children in Los Angeles need a ticket to go to school.

The app is called the Daily Pass and follows on the heels of the city’s digital vaccine verification announced in January 2021. Digital health passports and vaccine verifications are the beginning of data collection and social engineering that are being designed to change your behavior and control your movements.

These digital passports are being fed to a public that is weary of lockdowns and mask-wearing and longs for the ability to get back to some semblance of normalcy. It is being dangled as a mechanism for freedom. Adults will be required to show proof of a vaccine or a recent negative COVID-19 test before being able to travel, attend a concert, or enjoy a meal in their favorite restaurant.

March 24, 2021 - A recent article railing against “Cancel Culture” by Matthew Hennessey is a reasonably decent piece about how the vicious virtue signaling of woke Leftists destroys the country and culture itself. In Hennessey’s article, he argues that Generation X is the only thing that can stop it. He offers a rallying cry to other members of his generation to stand up against the Army of the Offended to save free speech and expression.

Hennessy writes, “We grew up in a country that didn’t ban books. We all agreed that witch hunts and blacklists were bad. Censorship was an outrage. The 1980s were not that long ago. Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about. So obviously we’ve got a problem here. Everybody can see it. Everybody knows where it’s heading. What we don’t have - yet - is a group of people who are willing to do something about it. I nominate us.”
