NEW YORK (PNN) - December 10, 2022 - Gun rights advocates warned that a new change to the credit card industry to add a firearm and ammunition-specific Merchant Category Code (MCC) for gun stores wasn't about tracking guns necessarily, but could lead to the denial of lawful firearms purchases by law-abiding citizens.

In September, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express all said they would adopt the MCC code to categorize sales at gun shops; months later, several social media posts of alleged gun stores and customers claim they experienced card issues.

December 9, 2022 - In online interviews and conversations I’m hearing intellectuals in the national conservative movement say that the liberal Enlightenment “project” has mostly failed because people need more in their lives than freedom. I’ve also heard this from a few people who have lately become disillusioned with Leftism but yet are uneasy about libertarianism.

My first response is to wonder whom these critics of classical liberalism, or libertarianism, its modern-day form, have in mind. Which important and widely influential liberal political, economic, or social thinker even implied that freedom is the only thing worth valuing? Let’s name names, please. I can’t think of one, but perhaps I’m overlooking someone.

BLACKSBURG, Virginia (PNN) - December 1, 2022 - A judge recently ruled that a former Virginia Tech women’s soccer player can continue a lawsuit against her former coach after she was allegedly benched and pressured to leave the team for declining to kneel during a pregame social justice demonstration.

Kiersten Hening, who was a midfielder/defender for the Hokies from 2018 to 2020, sued coach Charles “Chugger” Aidair in 2021 on First Amendment grounds, which federal Judge Thomas Cullen announced on December 2 can proceed to trial.

Hening claims that Adair was not a fan of her political views and that she often differed from her teammates on social justice issues during the height of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020.

CHICAGO, Illinois (PNN) - December 7, 2022 - Project Veritas on Wednesday released undercover video of a Dean of Students bragging about teaching “queer sex” to minors and giving them butt plugs to play with at school and at home.

Joseph Bruno, Dean of Students at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, told an undercover PV journalist that the coolest part of his job is watching minor students play with butt plugs and show interest in various sex toys.

“I’ve been the Dean for four years. During Pride - we do a Pride Week every year - I had our LGBTQ+ Health Center come in [to the classroom]. They were passing around butt-plugs and dildos to my students - talking about queer sex, using lube versus using spit,” Bruno said.

December 6, 2022 - Both Left-wingers and Right-wingers are debating how the Supreme Court should rule in a case arising in Colorado entitled 303 Creative v. Elenis. The case involves the issue of discrimination. The plaintiff in the case, 303 Creative, creates websites for weddings. It is opposed to same-sex marriages. Therefore, it does not want to provide its services to homosexual couples who are seeking a wedding website. 303 Creative has sued to prevent the enforcement of Colorado’s public accommodations law, which prohibits businesses that choose to serve the public from rejecting customers on the basis of race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation.

AUCKLAND, New Zealand (PNN) - December 5, 2022 - A New Zealand couple is refusing to allow their infant son to undergo lifesaving heart surgery using blood from people vaccinated against COVID-19.

The 4-month-old is critically ill with a severe case of pulmonary valve stenosis, a heart valve disorder. The boy’s mother says she wants her son’s operation to take place without delay, but she has demanded that “safe blood” be used, with her lawyer saying that the family was concerned about blood containing traces of vaccines using new mRNA technology.

WASHINGTON (PNN) - December 5, 2022 - On Tuesday, a District of Columbia jury convicted Stewart Rhodes and Kelly Meggs of seditious conspiracy in relation to the January 6, 2021 riot at the Fascist Police States of Amerika Capitol building. Three other defendants were acquitted of seditious conspiracy but convicted of other felonies. Convictions of seditious conspiracy represent a political victory - not just a legal one - for those who have long insisted that the January 6 incident was no mere riot, but an organized armed rebellion of some sort. This claim has been key in the illegitimate pretender Joe Biden regime’s ongoing vague claim that “democracy” - however defined - is somehow “at risk.”

Yet few of the legal proceedings arising out of the Amerikan Gestapo Department of InJustice’s (DOJ) prosecutions of so-called “rioters” have done much to forward this narrative. Out of the approximately 850 people charged with crimes of various sorts, only a small number have been charged with anything close to treason or violent insurrection. Specifically, the closest the DOJ has come is the charge of “seditious conspiracy” applied to a total of 11 defendants. So far, only 2 have been convicted of the charge.
