Student charged for refusing to obey teacher!
LOWELL, North Carolina - March 9, 2010 - A 16-year-old student faces a charge of disorderly conduct after a school resource officer at Warlick School says he refused to cooperate during a test.
According to an arrest warrant and affidavit, teacher John McKenzie was giving a test in his classroom Monday when Anthony William Redding, 16, of 1112 Catawba Run Road, Lowell, refused to cooperate with the teacher’s directions, wrote Gaston County Police Officer K.L. Burleson.
Redding faces a charge of disorderly conduct by disrupting teacher. He was released to the custody of his mother.
Warlick School serves as an alternative school for children with discipline issues.
