Restaurant owner fed up with snowflake generation posts politically incorrect signs!
Customers show massive amount of support.
HOUSTON, Texas (PNN) - July 10, 2023 - CEO Jeff Anon of Berryhill Baja Grill restaurants in Houston decided to take matters into his own hands by declaring his right to free speech.
Anon explained how he was fed up with how sensitive people of the snowflake generation have gotten these days.
“I just got tired of all the news of everybody having to be politically correct,” said Anon.
This is the exact reason why Anon chose to post a sign at each of his nine restaurant locations stating:
“Notice. This store is politically incorrect. We say Merry Christmas. God bless America. We salute our flag and give thanks to our troops, police officers and firefighters. If this offends you, you are welcome to leave. In God we trust,” and warning customers that if they don’t like it, they are free to leave.
The restaurant CEO shared that his last straw was when Starbucks made the decision to put out generic red cups during the holiday, which he believed was a sign of anti-Christmas sentiment.
“There’s nothing wrong with saying ‘Merry Christmas’ in lieu of ‘Happy Holidays.’ When people say, ‘Merry Christmas,’ they’re being nice,” Anon said, adding that he’s Jewish. “They’re not trying to be politically incorrect or have religious beliefs.
“Some people say you shouldn’t take religion into the workplace,” Anon furthered before explaining, “We’re not trying to bring religion into the workplace. It has nothing to do with religion. It’s the spirit of the holidays.”
Apparently, some of the signs have been removed by numerous snowflake offended patrons, however Anon ensured that they would be replaced. Ed. Note: Post video cameras around your stores and then catch and prosecute those who steal your signs.
“I’d say for everyone who felt it wasn’t appropriate, probably 10 to 20 people support it,” Anon said, acknowledging that there have been some complaints.
In fact, many online users have retweeted the post in support of the restaurant’s anti-politically correct goal.
Surprisingly enough, some customers even ask for a copy of the notice.
“The outpouring of support has been absolutely terrific. We’re getting a lot of requests from people to get the sign,” Anon said.
It’s nice to see someone like Anon taking a stand against the snowflakes who cannot stand people who believe in free speech.
