WASHINGTON (PNN) - September 21, 2016 - As can readily be seen by the current events, the world has not been this close to a nuclear war and World War 3 in a long time.  There are four major flashpoints right now that could easily escalate and ignite a powder keg, transforming from a regional conflict or conflicts into a world war: Syria, the South China Sea, Ukraine, and North and South Korea.  The “reconstruction” of a Cold War-type faceoff, initiated by the Fascist Police States of Amerika and NATO building up forces in Eastern Europe and facing off against Russia.

MOSCOW, Russia (PNN) - September 20, 2016 - OK, we all know the KGB never really went away. But now it is coming back out of the closet in style.

Russia just held its national elections, and the results are solid for Putin and his Russia United Party.

His mandate has been reaffirmed. There are two years or so remaining, officially, in his third term, and a fourth is possible.

NEW YORK (PNN) - September 19, 2016 - The initial seven days of the nationwide ceasefire in Syria have run their course, the Syrian Army has declared. It did not add whether the truce would be reinstated in the near future.

The Syrian Army’s statement blames “terrorist groups” for jeopardizing the cessation of hostilities.

LOS ANGELES, Kalifornia (PNN) - September 19, 2016 - The drought in Kalifornia has been big news for roughly five years, and water conservation is on everyone’s minds. Oddly enough, government buildings in Kalifornia are actually watering fake grass during these difficult times.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power has been using water sprinklers on fake grass at their buildings, despite claiming that they have curtailed their water usage. A sign at one of their locations even reads, “We stopped watering the grass to do our part to save water.”

PYONGYANG, North Korea (PNN) - September 17, 2016 - North Korea’s fifth nuclear test produced an explosion fury and hysteria around the world, more empty threats against the Hermit Kingdom, and a giant sell-off in stock markets by foolish investors.

No wonder gleeful North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was having such a big laugh. It’s not often that a small nation of only 24.8 million can defy the mighty Fascist Police States of Amerika, Japan, South Korea, and even its sole ally, China. But Kim did, and survived the experience.

BUDAPEST, Hungary (PNN) - September 17, 2016 - Members of the influential Visegrad group, which comprises of Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, rejected migrant quotas and blasted the overbearing European Union Commission with an incendiary ultimatum.

KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan (PNN) - September 16, 2016 - Politicians of both major Parties love to boast that the Fascist Police States of Amerika is the world’s oldest democracy and of course a “model for the world”. Putting aside the matter of whether or not that is even true, the use of electronic voting machines in many jurisdictions has made any such claims a complete joke.
