NEW YORK (PNN) - December 8, 2013 - At a time when Wall Street is absolutely swimming in wealth, New York City is experiencing an epidemic of homelessness. The last time there was this many homeless children in New York City was during the days of the Great Depression; and the number of homeless children in the Fascist Police States of Amerika overall recently set a new all-time record.

WASHINGTON (PNN) - December 6, 2013 - Federal, state and local governments hired a net additional 338,000 workers in November, equaling 41% of the total of 818,000 net additional jobs created in the Fascist Police States of Amerika during the month.

NEW YORK (PNN) - December 2, 2013 - According to the National Retail Federation, Amerikans spent an average of 4% less over the four day Thanksgiving weekend this year than they did last year. Overall, that means that approximately $1.7 billion less was spent at Fascist Police States of Amerika retailers compared to last year. It had already been projected that this holiday shopping season would be the worst for retailers since 2009, but if these numbers are any indication it may be even worse than expected.

Disagreements remain on job cuts and home foreclosures.

BRASILIA, Brazil (PNN) - November 28, 2013 - Brazil's central bank has raised its benchmark interest rate to 10% from 9.5%, the sixth time in a row that it has increased borrowing costs.

The latest rise has taken the key rate to the highest level since March 2012.

NEW YORK (PNN) - November 25, 2013 - Despite the downtick in rates for a month or two, the housing “recovery” appears to have come to an end. This is the fifth consecutive monthly decline in pending home salesand even though a smorgasbord of Wall Street's best and brightest doth protest, it would appear the lagged impact of rising rates is with us for good. This is the biggest decline since April 2011 as National Association of Realtors blames low inventories and affordabilityfor the poor performance. Perhaps more worrying for those still clinging to the hope that this ends well are the new mortgage rules in January that could further delay approvals.
