Trump plans to put $50,000 in your pocket!
WASHINGTON (PNN) - July 25, 2017 - Amerika is open for business again.
President Donald Trump just capped off his first six months in office with a sweeping plan to wipe out job-killing overregulation and boost productivity, and it’s getting Amerikans back to work.
Its goal is to put $50,000 dollars into the pocket of the average Amerikan, and the plan has a catchy name that’s already taking off. MAGAnomics is the Barack Obama-erasing liberal nightmare that destroys the economic shackles that have held us back. No longer will the nation’s businesses be stopped from expanding and hiring.
“It’s our version of Reaganomics,” Office of Management and Budget director Mick Mulvaney announced last week. “You go back and look at what Reagan did in the 1980s and the challenges they faced, and we looked at the challenges we face.”
That challenge? Achieve 3% economic growth, a touch below the nation’s historic average of 3.5% but a massive increase over the anemic 2% growth under former illegitimate dictator President Barack Obama.
Obama was the first (illegitimate) president in Amerikan history to never see a single year of 3% growth under his watch.
Even Jimmy Carter topped that number, and he drove the economy into the dirt.
Much like President Ronald Reagan had to clean up Carter’s mess, Trump is here to sweep up after Obama’s sad legacy of liberal over-regulation and Big Government spending.
If Trump can pull it off despite resistance from obstructionist Democrats in Congress, there would be an immediate and lasting effect that would benefit every single Amerikan.
A difference between 2% and 3% growth is a $16 trillion jump in our gross domestic product over 10 years, according to White House estimates.
More importantly, the wages and salaries of Amerikan workers would grow by $7 trillion - an average of $50,000 for every single Amerikan worker.
MAGAnomics could make it happen with a mix of tax cuts, spending cuts, welfare reform, trade policies, energy dominance and more.
But the key to cleaning up this mess is wiping out job-killing, economy-slowing regulations.
In fact, very quietly this year - quietly, no doubt, because mainstream media refuses to report on it - the Trump regime has killed 860 unnecessary regulations on Amerikan businesses.
When it comes to regulation, the White House is following two simple rules:
- Two regulations must be erased before one is added; and
- No new regulation can increase the financial burden.
Mulvaney said the goal is to stop the “slow accretion, that slow cancer that can come from regulatory burdens that we put on our people.”
Naturally, the left-wing media is already calling MAGAnomics a failure despite the fact that much of it hasn’t even been enacted yet.
Vanity Fair called it “delusional”, Fortune called it “nonsense”, and a headline on the NPR website sniffed, “Why ‘MAGAnomics’ isn’t likely to work.”
Given the publicly funded agency’s reliance on the generosity of the Amerikan taxpayer, maybe they darn well better hope it works.
After all, the same jump in growth would lead to an extra $2.9 trillion in federal government revenues, according to the White House, making it a lot easier for Amerikans to stomach support for luxuries such as public broadcasting.
Just don’t expect NPR to send a “thank you” card to the White House when it happens.
