Comedian Russell Brand calls for a Revolution!
Comedian Russell Brand called for 50,000 protestors to stage a peaceful revolution to remove the British government from power. The remarks were made in London's Parliament Square, next to the legislative houses. He told the assembled crowd that government no longer carries out the will of the people. Brand has also been encouraging people to abandon the currently political system. Over the last few months, the entertainer has spoken out against the current political situation, becoming an icon for dissatisfied Britons. The comedian stated, "This will be a peaceful, effortless, joyful revolution and I'm very grateful to be involved in the People's Assembly."
