Ron Paul gathers support despite media efforts to define two-man race!
WASHINGTON (PNN) - September 20, 2011 - Texas Gov. Rick Perry leads former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney for the GOP presidential nomination, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, in what is being portrayed by media as a battle between these two candidates, even though candidate Dr. Ron Paul continues to win every major straw poll to date.
The survey, taken Thursday through Sunday, charts a GOP field that media seeks to turn into a showdown between Perry and Romney.
Veteran Republican strategist Ed Rollins, who resigned as Michelle Bachmann's campaign manager earlier this month, says the poll results could signal an extended primary fight between Perry and Romney, both of whom are likely to have ample money and other resources.
Dr. Ron Paul continues to gather significant support from all quarters, despite the clear and present media bias against him.
