Three major sponsors pull advertising from presidential debates!
WASHINGTON (PNN) - September 30, 2012 - It was only a week ago that the Commission on Presidential Debates had ten sponsors for the 2012 debates. Today, they're down to seven. Phillips Electronics has pulled its sponsorship.
This means we may be closer to seeing and hearing Gary Johnson and Jim Gray on the debate stages this year.
You may think it is too late for the Commission on Presidential Debates to invite Johnson and James to debate. However, it takes very little effort to add a podium to a stage. On the other hand, it takes a whole lot of effort to convince a multi-billion dollar corporation to withdraw its sponsorship.
The sponsors that have withdrawn include: Phillips Electronics, BBH New York, and YWCA.
