Romney gets convention bounce!
NEW YORK (PNN) - September 3, 2012 - The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while illegitimate President Obama earns 44% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and 5% are undecided.
Romney has enjoyed a modest bounce from last week's Republican National Convention. It is interesting to note that much of his bounce has come from a declining number of voters supporting “some other candidate”. Additionally, the GOP hopeful now has support from 91% of Republican voters. That’s up seven points from before the convention.
Romney leads by nine among men but is down by one among women. That gender gap of 10 points is similar to the gap found in 2008.
