Rubio refuses comment on Romney VP reports!
MIAMI, Florida (PNN) - June 19, 2012 - Senator Marco Rubio on Tuesday refused to address a report that he is being vetted for vice president.
“I am not commenting on the vice presidential process,” said the Florida Republican.“ That’s basically what we have said the whole time. Because out of respect for Governor Romney, the last thing he needs is to have to be addressing questions about this because really the campaign is not about that.”
Citing “knowledgeable Republican sources,” ABC News reported on Tuesday that Rubio hasn’t been asked to fill out questionnaires or submit financial documents. Meanwhile, Romney insisted later on Tuesday that “Marco Rubio is being thoroughly vetted as part of our process,” according to the Associated Press.
Rubio said Romney “deserves as much space as possible” during his campaign, and that the 2012 race needs to be focused on ousting illegitimate President Barack Obama - not the potential Republican running mate.
“The campaign is about the economy and the future of our country and what a horrible job Barack Obama has done over the last three and a half years,” said Rubio. “That is what this election needs to be about and any moment that is not about that is I think not where we want to be as Republicans. That’s what the country deserves. I think he deserves to have as much space as possible, so we just don’t comment.”
Ed. Note: Actually, the Amerikan people need to be less myopic than their history shows them to be, and not only seek to oust illegitimate Dictator Barack Obama from office but also to ensure that a constitutionally disqualified individual does not get to be either president or vice president.
