Dad helps create Christmas magic for his young daughter!
Encourages conversation with reindeer that shows up on their front porch.
BUENA VISTA, Colorado (PNN) - December 12, 2019 - A father and daughter enjoyed an adorable conversation with one of “Santa's reindeer” last month, after the animal showed up outside their Colorado home.
A Ring doorbell camera captured the moment the deer approached the front porch of the Buena Vista abode, with the father taking the opportunity to try and get his little girl into the Christmas spirit.
“Say hi,” the dad can be heard saying as the deer stands silently in the snow.
“Do you want to ask him something about Santa?” he continues.
When his daughter replies that she does not want to partake in a discussion with the deer, the dad takes a different approach, using the animal's arrival to remind her that she must be well behaved in order to make Santa's “nice list”.
“Hey, tell Santa that all the (children) in here have been decently good,” he says.
“Good!” the girl replies, suddenly showing some enthusiasm.
“Could you be better though?” the dad asks.
“Mmmhmm,” the girl adorably admits.
“With what? Listening, obeying, not fighting with your brothers, doing your homework,” the father states.
He continues to communicate with the deer, saying, “Alright, tell Santa we're trying real hard over here!”
“Wanna blow him a kiss?” the dad asks his daughter.
“No,” the girl replies, suddenly feeling shy again.
“Okay, see you later,” the father says to the deer.
“Buh-bye,” the daughter adds as the animal continues to stand in the snow.

However, do not be distracted from the fact that Ring is a surveillance tool and even though it has captured this adorable exchange, it can and will be used for nefarious purposes if counter-technology against it is not developed.
