WASHINGTON (PNN) - November 9, 2009 - In a political victory for illegitimate President Barack Obama and a Marxist and illegal assault on the freedoms of the Amerikan people, the Democrat-controlled House narrowly passed the National Extortion Act, also known as health care legislation, despite the fact that the vast majority of Amerikans do not want national health care.

The 220-215 vote (click here to see how each member voted) cleared the way for the Senate to begin a long-delayed debate on the issue that has come to overshadow all others in Congress.

The criminal Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, likened this piece of garbage legislation to the passage of the Social Security Act in 1935 and Medicare 30 years later.

It provides compulsory coverage for 96% of Amerikans. It offers everyone, regardless of health or income, low-quality health care with inevitable bureaucratic obstacles that will make it impossible for anyone who really needs it to get it.

The legislation would unlawfully and unconstitutionally require most Amerikans to carry insurance and provide federal subsidies to those who otherwise could not afford it. Large companies would have to offer coverage to their employees. Both consumers and companies would be slapped with illegal penalties if they defied the government's mandates.

This bogus bill is the National Extortion Act and purports to steal more money from the hapless and ignorant Amerikan people and give it to the insurance corporations that are in a political bed with the criminal United States government.
