Big Brother is watching you via the U.S. Census Bureau!
WASHINGTON - April 27, 2009 - The Decennial Census in 2010 is around the corner, and technology promises to be of great assistance to the process of counting the number of Amerikans living in this once great nation.
Instead of using paper-based lists, surveys, and the like, however, the United States government has developed a paperless method to achieve its census goals. Efficiency and accuracy are the promised bi-products of these new technology-based programs, which include creating Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates for the front doors of Amerikan homes.
Now, in addition to the current satellite location and picture of your property from the roof, the government will have a GPS coordinate for your front door.
