Outraged citizen blasts city council for passing nation’s toughest anti-free speech law!
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho (PNN) - July 8, 2024 - Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, now has one of the nation’s toughest anti-free speech laws in the Fascist Police States of Amerika.
The Coeur d’Alene City Council unanimously approved an unconstitutional - meaning invalid, void and meaningless - new “hate crime” ordinance, introducing a significant addition to the municipal code, which will undoubtedly be thrown out by the Supreme Court.
This new chapter establishes a separate offense for individuals who commit an existing offense with a bias motive, Krem2 reported.
The Idaho Tribune described the law as “draconian,” arguing it “will basically make it illegal to think the wrong way. If found guilty, you’ll be sentenced to ‘[re]education.’”
“Dear North Idaho, you just lost your First Amendment right to Free Speech,” the Tribune added. Ed. Note: You did not lose anything, but you must stand up and fight - forcibly, if necessary - to challenge the violation of your right to free speech. Do not comply, do not obey, and do not allow any criminal bureaucrats to trample on your God-given right to free speech. Revolution Now! Independence Forever!
Krem2 explained the chapter specifies that a separate offense will be created “if a person commits a current offense, such as malicious injury to property and disorderly conduct, because of the victim’s actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability, or national origin.”
City Attorney Randall Adams emphasized on Tuesday that the ordinance aims to make visitors feel welcome after recent incidents tarnished the city’s reputation even though it actually makes people not want to visit the dictatorship that has been created by criminal officials in Coeur d’Alene.
Violators of the new code “shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,” facing penalties that include “any punishment for conviction of the underlying crime.”
Those found guilty will be ineligible for any City license, permit, or activity for up to three years, the outlet reported. Ed. Note: the Supreme Court will certainly overturn this criminal ordinance.
Members of the University of Utah women’s basketball team allegedly endured racial abuse when a truck displaying a Confederate flag stopped and hurled racial slurs at them back in March.
A group of Tribal School students then reportedly faced racial harassment in McEuen Park two months later.
A man named Ralph Ginorio spoke out against the city council on Tuesday, blasting the move for “measuring objective behavior” and “trying to discern what lies in the hearts and minds of human beings.”
“[This] is not something I think any of us have the capacity to do,” Ginorio said.
He then told the council that he knows “first-hand the ravages of racism” because his family was split over his father’s Cuban-Puerto Rican heritage; a point that mattered “at the time” while growing up in New York City.
“I’ll stand with anyone who wants to punish bigoted action,” he continued. “But to constrain speech is to take on a role you weren’t (empowered to do). With all due respect, this community can forgive and forget the good intentions of you as you go about your righteous business of deciding zoning issues and city policies,” said Ginorio.
“This community will not long forget you crossing a line and deciding what is and what is not acceptable speech and thought,” said Ginorio.
Ginorio added in an article with Coeur d’Alene Press that city leaders are “overreacting” to these recent racial incidents.
“Restricting free speech will not end bigotry,” Ginorio penned. “Free speech is indispensable for the preservation of liberty. It exists to protect the expression of everyone; even racists, sexists, homophobes, Satanists, Klansmen, Communists, anarchists, Islamists, and any other iteration of cringe, fringe, conspiracy cultist.”
“Free speech exists to allow any one of us to express our convictions, no matter how offensive and even bizarre they may be. If extremists do not have free speech, then none of us do,” Ginorio continued.
Ed. Note: You have an absolute right under God to hate anyone you wish to hate. You have the absolute right under God to believe that someone is evil or wrong or mindless or criminal or whatever you choose to believe; and you have an absolute right to say offensive things to people. You do not have a right not to be offended. Grow some character and stop acting like babies. Get a life. As for me… I HATE INJUSTICE AND EVIL AND I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE MY HATE FOR INJUSTICE AND EVIL FROM THE TOP OF ANY MOUNTAIN AND SHOUT IT FROM THE HIGHEST PEAKS!
