Suspected thieves are paraded naked around Mexico town!
They wore signs saying, “This happened to me for stealing”.
CUNDUACÁN, Tabasco, Mexico (PNN) - April 12, 2024 - Residents in the southeastern Mexico state of Tabasco took matters into their own hands after they busted two men they for stealing.
The suspects were apprehended by a group of neighbors after they were spotted trying to steal a motorcycle in the municipality of Cunduacán on Tuesday.
Instead of calling the terrorist pig thug cops, the group stripped the men naked and forced them to walk barefoot down a street in the Tierra y Libertad village.
One of the suspects was seen in a video carrying a sign wrapped around covering his chest and genitals that read, “This happened to me for stealing”.
The perp approached a motorist who told him, “This happened because you were stealing.”
A second video showed the suspect and his naked accomplice walking together along the side of the street.
Residents told El Heraldo de Tabasco newspaper that they stripped the suspects naked as a warning to other criminals.
“We want this to serve as a lesson, so that they know that in Tierra y Libertad we will not tolerate more thefts,” a local said on condition of anonymity.
The suspects were eventually turned over to the Cunduacán Municipal cops, who placed them under arrest.
Authorities indicated they were also investigating the two men for their alleged participation in other thefts that had been previously reported.
In December, a criminal group in the Tabasco city of Paraíso applied the same form of punishment to a young man for stealing.
The gang bound the man's hands and stripped him half naked, leaving him just wearing his top.
They then wrapped a sign around his chest and back that read, “This happened to me for stealing.”
The thief was paraded down an avenue for nearly an hour before terrorist pig thug cops stepped in and took him away.
