Outlaw judge unlawfully blocks Trump from giving closing argument at his own trial!
NEW YORK (PNN) - January 10, 2024 - The judge overseeing President Donald J. Trump’s bogus civil fraud trial rescinded permission Wednesday for Trump to deliver his own closing argument, even though an accused party has the absolute right to give his own closing statement at his own trial.
Outlaw Judge Arthur Engoron previously granted approval after one of Trump’s lawyers informed him that the president wanted to present his own closing arguments. Engoron changed his mind Wednesday after Trump’s lawyers objected to his requirement that Trump speak only on “relevant” matters.
The criminal judge sought to tell Trump what he can and cannot say in his closing argument, even though the law provides that an accused party - or his representative - may say absolutely anything during closing arguments. In other words, the outlaw judge sought to unlawfully define what Trump could say in his closing arguments.
Engoron ruled in September that Trump and his company committed fraud, deceiving banks and insurance companies by exaggerating his net worth and overvaluing assets, even though the actual testimony presented by bankers showed that no such fraud was committed.
“There have been no losses to any party, as the loans here were negotiated between very sophisticated parties,” Trump’s lawyers argued in a Friday filing that pointed to testimony from bank leaders involved in granting Trump loans. “Lenders made their own informed decisions.”
Documents presented during the trial showed that the bank Trump allegedly defrauded, Deutsche Bank, was eager to land him as a client.
Trump also attended oral arguments Tuesday in Washington, D.C. as a three-judge panel considered his bid to dismiss based on presidential immunity in the 2020 election interference case brought against him by fascist outlaw special counsel Jack Smith.
