Major league players criticize Dodgers for hosting anti-Catholic deviant group!
LOS ANGELES, Kalifornia (PNN) - June 17, 2023 - Nationals pitcher Trevor Williams has doubled down on his criticism of the Dodgers for re-inviting the deviant anti-Catholic group Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to the team's Pride Night Friday.
The homosexual and deviant transgender group, who refer to themselves as an order of homosexual and deviant transgender nuns, are known to mock Christianity and initially had their invite rescinded after pressure from politicians and Christians.
However, the Dodgers changed course after deviant transgenders threatened them, stating that “people will die” if they do not support the deviants.
Appearing on Catholic network EWTN News, Williams said, “It had to be said. We cannot stand idly by while our Lord gets mocked. It was the point when the Dodgers re-invited them after knowing very well what they've been doing for the last 30 years,” he continued. “These (deviants) shouldn't be honored, and they shouldn't mock a certain group.”
Williams' latest comments come after his initial statement against the Dodgers, where he claimed the team was contradicting its own discrimination policy in hosting the group, which has previously performed lap dances to a man tied to a crucifix.
“As a devout Catholic, I am deeply troubled by the Dodgers' decision to re-invite and honor the group The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at their Pride Night this year,” Williams tweeted. “A Major League Baseball game is a place where people from all walks of life should feel welcomed, something I greatly respect and support. This is the purpose of different themed nights hosted by the organization, including Pride Night.”
“To invite and honor a group that makes a blatant and deeply offensive mockery of my religion, and the religion of over 4 million people in Los Angeles county alone, undermines the values of respect and inclusivity that should be upheld by any organization,” said Williams. “Creating an environment in which one group feels celebrated and honored at the expense of another is counterproductive and wrong. It is a clear violation of the Dodgers' Discrimination Policy, which explicitly states that any conduct or attire at the ballpark that is deemed to be indecent or prejudice against any particular group (or religion) is not tolerated.”
Williams' thoughts were echoed by LA pitchers Blake Treinen and Clayton Kershaw, who disagreed with the Sisters' presence at a Dodgers game.
