Discrimination lawsuit continues.

DURHAM, North Carolina (PNN) - June 2, 2023 - A teen girl who was denied a kidney transplant during the nonexistent COVID pandemic because she did not take the poisonous experimental vaccination has gotten her transplant.

But a report from the Christian Post confirms that a lawsuit over the discrimination she suffered at the hands of Duke University as well as a proposal that would make it illegal to do that to others continues.

The Christian Post said it was Yulia Hicks who just days ago was given a kidney from an "amazing live donor". The report cited an update on GiveSendGo's fundraising page, "Kidney for Yulia."

Her family had charged last winter that Duke University refused her a transplant because of her vaccination status.

She is the adopted daughter of Chrissy and Lee Hicks and is reportedly recovering well.

The update said, "We are now focusing our attention on Yulia's healing, getting Yulia's law passed, and the lawsuit with Duke."

The law, House Bill 586, is pending in the Republican-majority state assembly in North Carolina and would state plainly that "an individual's right to health care is not diminished by a refusal to get a COVID-19 vaccine."

It would make such discrimination illegal. It already has been adopted by the House and is pending in the Senate.

Furthermore, the family has pending a lawsuit against Duke, in federal court in North Carolina, charging that the hospital violated Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that bans discrimination on the basis of religion at places of public accommodation.

The complaint seeks $5 million in compensatory damages for the "intentional infliction of emotional distress" as well as undetermined punitive damages.
