Conservative white lawmaking dude identifies as black lesbian!
Left erupts!
MUNCIE, Indiana (PNN) - May 1, 2023 - In what supporters are lauding as the trolling operation that transgender radicals deserve, a white, conservative Indiana legislator has announced publicly that he now identifies as a trans "lesbian woman of color".
Ryan Webb, a Delaware County councilman and Muncie, Indiana resident, announced April 12, "It is with great relief that I announce to everyone that I identify as a woman and not just any woman but as a woman of color as well. I guess this would make me gay/lesbian as well, since I am attracted to women."
Webb's very public apparent prank is earning a lot of attention among anti-"woke" conservatives, especially after two popular Twitter accounts, End Wokeness and Matt Walsh, gave it approving publicity. End Wokeness tweeted to its one million followers: "Ryan Webb, a white councilman in Indiana, now identifies as a woman of color. The best part? The media being forced to take him seriously." Attached was a local WISH-TV (Channel 8) news story April 19 about Webb that reported he was being targeted by angry Leftists.
In Webb's original Facebook post April 12, he declared, "After much consideration I have decided to come out and finally feel comfortable announcing my true authentic self. It is with great relief that I announce to everyone that I identify as a lesbian woman of color. Whew, that felt good to finally get that out there and start living life as my true self. I'm excited to bring some diversity to the county council," Webb continued. "Until today we didn't have any black females or LGBTQIAPC+++ on the council. I'm glad that we now do."
“To avoid confusion, everyone can continue to address me as Ryan or as Councilman Webb. I will also retain my preferred pronouns of He/Him, however, this will in no way diminish my true identity as a lesbian woman of color," he said. "I’m excited to be a vocal partner of the LGBTQIAPC+++ movement. Who knows just how far we can take things, but I’m just glad that this is now possible so anyone can be anything or anyone they want. God bless America.”
Leftists were enraged at Webb's self-"outing". Six days after his "coming out," Ryan's chief nemesis, a group called "Indiana Progressives," tweeted out, "Delaware County, Indiana, county council member Ryan Webb mocks the LGBTQ community on Facebook."
The Left-wing pro-Democrat group directed people to attend a Delaware County council meeting, where Webb was roundly denounced, with one woman saying, "I don't understand why he would trash transgenders in one post, and then the very next day say he is transgender. It creates a divide."
Webb was clearly cutting against the common political wisdom that "All politics is local," for it was inevitable in the supercharged atmosphere of the transgender debate that he would create a national controversy.
He declined an on-air interview with WISH-TV Channel 8, which reported death threats against him, but he gave the station this statement: “Our family has been receiving violent threats throughout the day from intolerant liberals who refuse to accept my decision to live my life however I choose. I don’t really see how an interview will improve the situation."
“It is unfortunate, but a group called Indiana Progressives has decided to organize a hate and harassment campaign against me and my family by publishing my address and encouraging people to unlawfully congregate at my home. You can read their comments on my public post. I have to look out for the safety of my family, including our 6 children. There are people with serious mental health issues encouraging people who are unwelcome to come to my home, so I think it’s best to politely decline your on-camera interview," he said in the statement.
He called for tolerance and mimicked LGBT rhetoric in saying, "Nobody has the authority to validate or invalidate any individual who chooses to identify a certain way."
Matt Walsh, creator of the conservative Daily Wire film, What Is a Woman? rallied to Webb's defense, even if he did get Webb's "pronouns" (He/Him) wrong in doing so, referring to him using "she" and "her." On Sunday Walsh tweeted to his 1.8 million followers: "Wow: incredibly stunning and brave. Ryan Webb is a powerful black woman who deserves our full support and respect," after first tweeting, "Apparently Ms. Webb's self-identity is not being respected in Delaware County. A number of people at the last council meeting even called for her to resign."
Walsh floated the idea of attending the next Delaware County council meeting, which would surely take the controversy up a notch, if not create the sort of full-blown spectacle that usually follows Walsh's speaking appearances and the trans protests that confront them. "I'm wondering if I might need to show up to the next meeting to show my support. Can't tolerate this bigotry in the year 2023." Webb praised Walsh for his support.
With other major conservative voices like Dan Bongino rallying to the Indiana "trans woman"'s defense, Walsh Monday devoted a whole Daily Wire show to the Webb spectacle.
Walsh said on the program, "To everybody on the Left, I'm sorry but this is your bed. You have made it for yourself and now you must lay in it. You don't get to reject anyone's truth. You do not have permission to be skeptical of anyone's claims about his or her identity. You have set the rules for your own game. The rules stipulate that a person's physical body has no bearing on any part of his or her identity."
