Georges Bergès reportedly refused last week to provide the House Oversight Committee with the identities of the buyers of Biden high-priced artwork. While counsel William Pittard insists that the list of purchasers must remain secret, it is hard to see the viable legal basis to refuse the demand of the House Oversight Committee, if made subject to a congressional subpoena.

WASHINGTON (PNN) - February 18, 2023 - An FBI whistleblower has divulged to Congress that the bureau has created a case quota system that can incentivize agents to pursue frivolous cases or delay action on real crimes in order to attain statistical goals.

Steve Friend, a special agent and former SWAT team member who blew the whistle on civil liberties violations in the Jan. 6 investigation, said that he resigned from the bureau this week and gave the House Judiciary Committee an extensive interview detailing his concerns about the politicization of criminal cases and the growing manipulation of investigations to attain statistical and budget goals.

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (PNN) - February 17, 2023 - On Friday, President Donald J. Trump announced he would be visiting East Palestine after Biden had largely ignored the disaster and refused to send assistance. Ironically, just hours after Trump announced his planned visit, Biden changed course and decided to send a FEMA assistance team to the area.

Many have opined that Biden only did this because he didn’t want to be upstaged by Trump.

BOSTON, Massachusetts (PNN) - February 17, 2023 - Donald Trump would beat Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2024, according to a new poll released on Friday.

Trump, who announced his candidacy in November, would win 4% of the vote, while Biden would gain 41%, the survey showed.

President Trump would perform even better against Harris, winning 49% of support compared to Harris’s 39%.

KIEV, Ukraine (PNN) - February 15, 2023 - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has awarded one of the country's combat units an “honorary title” that harkens to a notorious Nazi Wehrmacht division that was involved in numerous war crimes during World War II.

In a presidential decree published on Tuesday, Zelensky granted the name “Edelweiss” to the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade due to “exemplary performance of assigned tasks during the protection of the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine” amid Kiev’s conflict with Moscow.

The newly bestowed title bears similarity to the one used by Nazi Germany's 1st Mountain Division, which took part in the invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941 and raised a swastika flag on Mount Elbrus in a propaganda stunt during an advance into the Caucasus in 1942. The name “Edelweiss” stuck because the chevrons on the unit’s uniform bore a depiction of the edelweiss flower.

EAST LANSING, Michigan (PNN) - February 14, 2023 - Michigan State University will remain closed for two days as it recovers from a horrific shooting last night. Anthony McRae shot and killed three people last night and wounded an additional five.

He remained at large before being found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There will be calls for gun control, but there will be a defined shelf life on the coverage since McRae doesn’t check enough boxes for this to be a sustained media effort. First, he’s not white; he’s black - a detail mainstream media omitted.

GRAND FORKS, North Dakota (PNN) - February 13, 2023 - China's foreign ministry has cried foul over proposals in Florida and Texas to ban Chinese citizens in the Fascist Police States of Amerika (FPSA) from buying property - saying that it violates the principles of market economy and international trade rules.

"Generalizing the concept of national security and politicizing economic, trade and investment issues violate the rules of market economy and international trade rules," said spokesman Mao Ning during a Friday press briefing.

In addition to Texas and Florida, Arkansas and several other states are reportedly considering similar legislation.
