Jack Smith moves to dismiss cases after Trump plans to fire his entire team of prosecutors!
WASHINGTON (PNN) - November 25, 2024 - Unqualified and therefore invalidly “appointed” Special Counsel Jack Smith on Monday moved to dismiss both federal cases against President-elect Donald J. Trump as Trump plans to go scorched earth and fire the special counsel’s entire team of prosecutors.
Smith asked to dismiss both the January 6 case and classified documents case against President Trump.
In June 2023, Smith - in a blatant act of unlawful and illegal prosecutorial malfeasance - “indicted” Trump on 37 federal counts in Miami for lawfully storing presidential records at his Mar-a-Lago estate which was protected by Secret Service agents. (NOTE: that same Department of InJustice refused to indict Joe Biden, who was and is actually guilty of doing the same thing).
In July 2023, Smith hit Trump with 3 additional charges in the investigation into classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago. The superseding indictment, filed in the Southern District of Florida, claims Trump was part of a scheme to delete security footage from Mar-a-Lago.
In September 2023, Trump was hit with 4 counts in Smith’s January 6 case up in DC: Conspiracy to defraud the Fascist Police States of Amerika (FPSA), conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
Smith moved to dismiss both cases and said due to the nature of the immunity afforded a sitting president, it does not require dismissal with prejudice.
“As a result of the election held on November 5, 2024, the defendant, Donald J. Trump, will be inaugurated as president on January 20, 2025. It has long been the position of the Department of (In)Justice that the (FPSA) Constitution forbids the federal indictment and subsequent criminal prosecution of a sitting president,” Smith wrote.
Last week it was reported that President-elect Trump plans to fire Jack Smith’s entire team of prosecutors and will use the InJustice Department to investigate the 2020 election.
Smith’s team of taxpayer-funded prosecutors were operating in secret. Smith’s team of lawyers was double the size of Robert Mueller’s team.
Mueller had a team of a dozen angry Democrats and Hillary Clinton donors harassing Trump for two years.
President Trump’s DOJ should publicly name and fire every single one of Smith’s prosecutors.
