GOP investigating Fani Willis over politically motivated prosecutions!
ATLANTA, Georgia (PNN) - August 24, 2023 - Members of the Republican Party in Congress have notified Fani Willis, the fascist Leftist Georgia prosecutor who unleashed a bogus multiple-count indictment against nearly 20 people who supposedly conspired with President Donald J. Trump during the 2020 election by making "phone calls" and such that they want answers about her agenda.
The Federalist has reported it is GOP members of the House Judiciary Committee who wrote to Willis demanding answers.
"Your indictment and prosecution implicate substantial federal interests, and the circumstances surrounding your actions raise serious concerns about whether they are politically motivated," the letter warns.
"It is noteworthy that just four days before this indictment, you launched a new campaign fundraising website that highlighted your investigation into President Trump," they charge. "Additionally, the foreman of the special grand jury you convened to investigate President Trump earlier this year bragged during an unusual media tour about her excitement at the prospect of subpoenaing President Trump and getting to swear him in."
Then just last week, the court in Willis' jurisdiction "publicly released a list of criminal charges against President Trump hours before the vote of the grand jury."
Furthermore, a court already has disqualified Willis from "targeting" a state official "on the grounds that you actively supported and held fundraising events for his Democrat opponent."
Other issues include Willis' insistence back in 2021 that she was investigating, yet her refusal to file charges until now, as the 2024 presidential campaign is underway; and she is demanding trial in March 2024, the "day before Super Tuesday".
One count, the letter explains, has Willis seeking "to criminalize under Georgia law the White House chief of staff arranging meetings and phone calls for the president."
"There are also aspects of the indictment that give rise to questions about whether your office is seeking to criminalize under Georgia law certain speech of federal officers, including the president, that is protected by the First Amendment."
Moreover, "To the extent that presidents fear that they may be subject to politically motivated prosecutions after they leave office, this could impact the policies they choose to pursue while in office; and because this president is a current candidate for that office, the indictment implicates another core federal interest: a presidential election."
Also, "there are questions about whether and how your offices coordinated with DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith," the letter warned.
