Harvard law professor says Mueller probe has nothing!
BOSTON, Massachusetts (PNN) - November 26, 2018 - Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz, a frequent defender of Fascist Police States of Amerika President Donald Trump, warned that a politically devastating report from special counsel Robert Mueller is headed to the White House.
But Dershowitz says there won’t be anything criminal in the report. According to Dershowitz, the report will only be political fuel for Trump’s rivals.
Dershowitz said that the final report from Mueller’s probe is expected soon, and warned that what it contains will be a political minefield the president must carefully navigate.
“I think the report is going to be devastating to the president, and I know that the president’s team is already working on a response to the report,” Dershowitz said Sunday on the show ABC show This Week.
“At some point when the report’s made public, and that’s a very hard question considering the new attorney general who has the authority to decide when and under what circumstance to make it public, it will be made public probably with a [White House] response alongside it,” he said.
However, that doesn’t mean the White House is finished, Dershowitz continued. In fact, just the opposite.
Don’t expect any criminal findings - just political theater.
“When I say devastating, I mean it’s going to paint a picture that’s going to be politically very devastating,” Dershowitz said. “I still don’t think it’s going to make a criminal case.”
Trump has regularly dismissed the Mueller probe as a political witch hunt, and has denied any wrongdoing. Last week, the president submitted written responses to investigators’ questions and called for Mueller to wrap up the probe.
“It has been our position from the outset that much of what has been asked raised serious constitutional issues and was beyond the scope of a legitimate inquiry. This remains our position today,” Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, said in a statement.
“The president has nonetheless provided unprecedented cooperation. The Special Counsel has been provided with more than 30 witnesses, 1.4 million pages of material, and now the president’s written responses to questions. It is time to bring this inquiry to a conclusion,” the statement read.
