Trump blasts New York Times coverage!
NEW YORK (PNN) - November 13, 2016 - With the liberal media cannibalizing itself in the aftermath of the Trump victory culminating with a scathing indictment by MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, leading to an unprecedented letter from New York Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger in which he vowed The New York Times would “reflect” on its coverage of this year’s election, as it "rededicates" itself to reporting on “Amerika and the world honestly", this morning president-elect Trump rubbed salt in the NYT's wounds when he blasted The New York Times in a Sunday morning tweet, targeting the newspaper's coverage of the "Trump phenomenon". Trump called the newspaper's coverage "very poor" and "highly inaccurate".
While Trump is set to tell 60 Minutes in an interview airing Sunday evening that he would be restrained on Twitter as president, this tweet probably snuck through the crack.
This morning the Times website is leading with an article entitled, Trump Hires to Set Course of Presidency, in which the newspaper said his "inner circle includes a clash of visions".
Today's tweet culminates Trump's recurring, frequent criticism of the NYT's coverage of his campaign throughout the primaries and general election.
Defenders of the NYT used the Trump tweet to voice their support for the newspaper, saying they would renew their subscriptions for the media outlet which last quarter saw a nearly 20% plunge in ad revenue.
