We have become so inured to the excuses and explanations used to justify the imperialism practiced by the United States government that we no longer question the tyranny of our president and Congress. What a tragedy! We have abandoned the truth in favor of convenience; we have abandoned our freedom in favor of government benefits; we have abandoned property rights in favor of corporate greed.
