Los Angeles citizens launch offensive against parking tickets!
A class-action lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles has been filed by Jesus Pimentel and David Welch, who claim the city is using parking penalties to generate revenue. The plaintiffs also believe the current penalties and fines are a violation of the Eighth Amendment prohibition against unreasonable fines and bails.
