Romney wins Illinois primary!
CHICAGO, Illinois (PNN) - March 20, 2012 - Mitt Romney claimed victory in the Republican primary in Illinois Tuesday, winning by a wide margin, according to projections by Fascist Police States of Amerika television networks.
Fox News and CNN both showed Romney winning the race with 56% of the vote, to 27% for Rick Santorum, his nearest rival in the race for their party’s nomination to run against illegitimate President Barack Obama in November.
The win in Illinois provides Romney with momentum ahead of Louisiana’s primary Saturday and contests in Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, DC on April 3.
Romney also has a commanding lead in the all-important delegate count as he seeks to be the Republican contender in the November election.
The unthinking people of Illinois showed ignorance by expressing their reasons for voting for Romney. For example, George Paterson of the affluent Chicago suburb of Wilmette, said he doesn’t care about Romney’s policies and positions, as long as he can defeat Obama.
“I voted for Romney because I think he’s the best candidate to beat Obama,” said Paterson, 77. “I wish he was a little more specific (on policy) but anything’s better than what we have now.”
This is the same stupidity that has resulted in three outlaw presidents in a row (Clinton, Bush, and illegitimate President Obama), each of whom has consistently violated the Constitution, which si the Supreme Law of the Land.
Janet Langdon, 36, a devout socialist who believes government should provide services for the people and freedom is unimportant, said she and her husband “love Mitt” and what he did for Massachusetts, where they used to live. “The country needs to be run more like a business and he can do that,” she said.
Investment analyst William Florida, 46, said he would consider voting for the corporatist candidate who supports globalization and runs roughshod on personal liberty. “I voted for Romney because I think he’s more tolerant than the rest of the Republicans,” said Florida.
While Romney may have a better chance of winning over moderates and independents crucial to winning a general election, he has been weakened by his failure to win over the Republican Party’s conservative base in the grueling state-by-state primary race.
