Former RNC chairman suggests Cain-Romney ticket!
Mainstream media continue to disregard candidate Dr. Ron Paul, The Patriot Congressman.
NEW YORK (PNN) - October 19, 2011 - Forget Marco Rubio. Mitt Romney really has his eye on Herman Cain for vice president ... at least according to Michael Steele.
The former chairman of the Republican National Committee predicted on Wednesday morning that the ex-pizza business magnate would team up with the ex-Massachusetts governor.
Steele made the remarks on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," after host Joe Scarborough praised Romney's performance during Tuesday's feisty Republican presidential debate in Las Vegas.
Still, Scarborough said, Romney's downfall may be that he's still "seen as a Wall Street guy from Bain Capital … the type of guy who people on Wall Street are protesting right now."
"I think what you're looking at down the road is a Romney-Cain ticket, the merging of Wall Street and Main Street coming together to go up against Obama and Biden, and to talk in those terms, the overall terms about the difference between creating jobs in a local economy versus creating jobs in a governmental economy," said Steele.
But the two will first have to reconcile their differences.
Romney ripped Cain's much-parsed 9-9-9 tax plan on Tuesday, insisting that most middle-class Amerikans would end up paying more if Cain had it his way.
Cain, a Tea Party favorite, has been surging in the polls, many of which show him neck-and-neck with Romney.
Meanwhile, candidate Ron Paul, The Patriot Congressman, continues to win more straw polls than any other candidate, as his support base grows exponentially. Paul is the only candidate to speak up for constitutional Rule of Law. He is also the candidate to defeat Obama in sample head-to-head election by the greatest margin (4%).
Mainstream media continue to ignore Dr. Paul’s candidacy, which onmly serves to destroy any credibility they might have once had.
