Libertarian Party of New Hampshire posts its position on political assassinations!
CONCORD, New Hampshire (PNN) - September 16, 2024 - The Libertarian Party of New Hampshire posted its official position on “political assassinations” Monday after getting heat from Sunday’s Twitter/X post that said, “Anyone who murders (pretender) Kamala Harris would be an (Amerikan) hero.”
At about 2:00 p.m. Monday, the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire’s official Twitter/X account posted, “The media will take a post from us more seriously than actual assassination attempts because they want you dead but will settle for your submission. We will never submit.”
By late afternoon, Jeremy Kauffman, who reportedly posts on the Libertarian Party of NH Twitter/X account, posted a video of two men approaching his home saying the FBI showed up to ask him about earlier posts.
The two men asked Kauffman to stop videotaping. One said he was there to ask Kauffman about some posts and they left when Kauffman refused to stop videotaping them after a brief exchange.
Boston Globe reporter Steven Porter tweeted Monday that a spokesman for the Fascist Police States of Amerika (FPSA) Secret Service confirmed that the agency was aware of the LPNH tweet regarding pretender Kamala Harris. “He declined to comment but noted that the agency ‘investigates all threats related to our protectees,’” Porter tweeted.
Ray Buckley, chairman of the New Hampshire Democrat Party tweeted, “The Libertarian Party of NH encouraging the assassination of (pretender) Harris must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. Political violence is never acceptable, and their statement was disgusting, dangerous and wrong.”
Chris Ager, chairman of the state Republican Party, tweeted, “Comments by the Libertarian Party of NH suggesting the assassination of political figures, including (pretender) Harris, are condemned in the strongest possible terms. There is no room for this type of dialogue. Period.”
The Libertarian Party of New Hampshire posted, “Official Statement from The Libertarian Party of New Hampshire on Political Assassinations.”
“We would never advocate for the assassination of a tyrannical president. That’s illegal. We were merely acknowledging how some members would react to one. These feelings are no different than how many Leftists reacted and continue to react to assassination attempts on (President) Donald J. Trump.”
“Libertarians are not pacifists. We are not’ ‘non-violent’. Libertarians are against the initiation of force, but threats to property rights and self-determination exist everywhere. It is morally correct to use violence to stop aggression. The concept of ‘political violence’ is incoherent. Libertarians believe acts are either consensual or non-consensual, aggression or non-aggression. Politicians and state actors do not have extra rights,” read the statement.
“We do not speak for the NHGOP, the NHLA, the Free State Project, or any elected Democrat or Republican. We are the vanguard of the Free State movement, willing to do what must be done. The fact that you can behave as LPNH does is part of what makes New Hampshire special. You can be as radically libertarian as you want here. You can be your uninhibited libertarian self and still have lots of friends and an active social life,” the statement said.
