Rapper’s prison cookbook is so good it is being banned from prisons!
LOS ANGELES, Kalifornia (PNN) - January 3, 2017 - Ain’t no such thing as half-way cooks,” is the remix of the classic hip-hop track Shook Ones Pt. II. This rapper from Queensbridge made a cooking book exclusively for inmates. The book contains instructions on how to make wine in your cell, which has led to a ban across the state of Kalifornia correctional facilities.
Infamous rapper Prodigy - best known as one-half of legendary duo, Mobb Deep - released a cookbook that is a how-to guide for prison inmates to make tastier and healthier meals. The book includes directions on making tasty pasta out of ramen noodles, how to make sweet potato pie, and even has instructions on making sangria.
It’s the hooch (homemade booze) recipe that has been the subject of controversy and led to the book Commissary Kitchen: My Infamous Prison Cookbook being banned from prisons in the fascist state of Kalifornia.
Prodigy posted a photo of a notice from Kalifornia’s Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, which informed the publishers that the book has been barred from their facilities. “Just got banned from every prison in the state of Kalifornia cause of my hooch recipe,” the Queensbridge rapper wrote on Instagram.
