Yoko Ono and 2,000 others remember John Lennon's 75th birthday!
NEW YORK (PNN) - October 7, 2015 - Yoko Ono earned the wrath of many a Beatles fan for supposedly breaking up the four-man band.
But she brought more than 2,000 Beatles fans together Tuesday morning during an attempt to make a Guinness World Record for the largest group of human bodies forming a peace sign, according to the Guinness official on scene.
The crowd that gathered on the East Meadow didn't break the current 5,814-person human peace sign world record, which was set in Ithaca, New York, in 2009, according to the World Record Academy.
But the event, which Ono organized with the John Lennon Education Tour Bus, included musical performances meant to pay tribute to Ono's husband John Lennon, who would have turned 75 years old this Friday.
