You Are Not Alone

Yesterday, a friend of mine told me he had been diagnosed with a form of heart failure. Medical doctors told him he should get his affairs in order because he did not have long to live. After getting a second opinion and receiving medication, his heart responded and it now looks like he could have a somewhat "normal" life ahead of him.

My friend did not tell his sisters, his friends, or anyone he thought might become emotionally upset with his plight. He faced this life-threatening situation alone, only telling his wife and boss about his condition.

Now, I agree that my friend has a right to his privacy. He has the right to face his fears without any input from others. He has the right to die alone.

My pain is that I do not know how to support my friend. He does not want to hear my feelings about the value of friendship. His fear of my knowing about his illness stymies my loving concern for him. He has shut me out, along with the rest of his family.

The reason I am discussing this situation with you is because this is not the time for any one of us to face our terrors alone. Every day, we are bombarded with the fears put upon us by a government that wants to take our lives, liberties and property. Every day we hear about American Citizens being incarcerated by an evil federal government; Citizens dying because of chemicals and viruses the government has released into the atmosphere, water and food; Citizens whose lives have been absolutely ruined, because they thought the system was there to protect them and so did not protect themselves from a government gone wild.

Brent is constantly telling us that we must build community with "like-minded" Citizens. These are the friends who will be there for you if the government violates you. These are the people who will pray for you and ask assistance from YHWH. These are the people on whom you can depend. These are your countrymen and women...the TRUE Americans.

This is not the time to face the devil alone. Our Father is always waiting for your call and your prayers. Our Father is waiting for us to ask Him to return to the head of our country. He is waiting for us to return to His word and follow His instructions as to how to live.

Our Father wants us to bring all our problems, big and small, to Him for perfect resolution. He is the Power and He is the Glory and all we need to do is ask for His Intervention and He will set the record straight.

One of my greatest sorrows is that my friend does not have a relationship with the Creator. He is facing his illness alone, not just without friends and family, but also without faith in the power of prayer and the Love of Our Father.

My other sadness is that our country seems without the religious foundation that was present at its founding. The American people have allowed non-believers to take control of their political process, their courts, their schools, and their families.

Without direction from our Creator, we are like a ship without a captain or a compass without a direction arm. We do not know what steps we must take to reclaim our country from the darkness that has enveloped it.

We need each other and we need YHWH to see us through this dark night. We all need to pray for our country, our fellow patriots, and our families. And will you please pray for my friend, who happens to be my blood brother, because he is very alone right now and can use your loving prayers.
