No More Than The Party Line
By Lee Parker
I have just gotten off the phone with another radio station which has reduced its live-broadcast "talk show" to ZERO....that's right...0!
It seems that WTAR in Virginia Beach, VA was overly successful in its live talk-show broadcast. In speaking to Darrell at WTAR, I was told that their talk segment has been replaced by a satellite show of some doctor's program.
The reason that I say they were overly successful is that in the surrounding area WTAR broadcasts, there are approximately 4 sizable cities including Virginia Beach and Norfolk, Virginia. It seems that there was a trend in which the various city halls in this region were calling the studio to determine "who" would be appearing on the weekly talk show segments. The show roster was then typed and made available to the various city hall employees as valuable listening.
During this talk-show hour many topics of freedom and sovereignty were address. Evidently, the various city halls realized that these discussions presented important information for their employees.
This is reminiscent of the live talk shows that were canceled in Boise, Idaho. These shows were dealing with topics that I call "advanced freedom." One of the hosts of a major live-talk show aired information on what is called the "nom de guerre." This "nom de guerre" is the fictitious name given to you by the federal government and is not your given name. Have you ever noticed that whenever you receive anything from the IRS or other regulatory entity that your name is printed in all capital letters. Well, the writing of your name in that manner has very specific meaning in law; it indicates that to be your "war name." This identifies you as an enemy of the government as defined in the "Trading With the Enemies Act."
Within a short period of time this and a second station with LIVE TALK PROGRAMMING went silent; their live talk-show segments were replaced with canned material. The "official story" was that the advertisers were not receiving the return on their money, but when one of the hosts was told this, he just laughed and said, "NO WAY."
I have also heard of the FCC coming into a small patriot satellite station and closing them down. In this particular case, the station DID NOT fall under the regulatory auspices of the FCC. Further, there were no complaints regarding its programming. So, how does the FCC justify closing them down? What were they broadcasting that was so threatening to the government?
What is happening to our freedom of Speech? What is happening to our ability to hear contrasting points of view? Since the government-run education in this country is not teaching truth and freedom and the radio stations are filling that informational gap, why are these stations and programs disappearing?
If you will just take a minute to think about this, I believe you will concur with me that the government is petrified at the population becoming overly informed. The government has worked very hard to separate Americans from one another. Their biggest fear is that the truth about their deception will be learned. LIES LIVE IN THE DARK. TRUTH LIVES IN THE LIGHT. When anyone speaks the truth, the government MUST shut them up. Like Leroy Schweitzer and the Montana Freemen, patriotic Americans must be made to look misguided; our message must be discredited or the government will lose its power base.
The way to eliminate live talk shows is to get to management and threaten them. It isn't difficult to do. Just threaten to close them down.
However, if the Citizen is only exposed to the government's Party line, what makes the United States so different from Russia, China or even Nazi Germany?
